About this product
The ABUS 65/40 is a 40mm solid brass padlock, keyed alike to code 402, suited to securing goods of medium value or average theft risk. It works well on chains, doors, gates, cupboards, lockers, toolboxes, cellar windows, sheds and switchboards. The body is solid brass for corrosion resistance, with a hardened steel shackle carrying a NANO PROTECT™ coating to resist weather and forced entry. The precision pin cylinder uses mushroom counter pins with a paracentric keyway for improved resistance to picking and manipulation. It has an automatic locking mechanism and an ABUS Security Level of 5. Being keyed alike to code 402, it can be operated with the same key as other 402-coded locks, useful for managing several locks across a property. Overall size is 40mm wide, 62mm high and 15mm deep.
