The ABUS 65/50 is a 50mm solid brass padlock designed for medium-value goods and applications with average theft risk, such as chains, doors, gates, cupboards, lockers, toolboxes, cellar windows, sheds and switchboards. The brass body offers good corrosion resistance, while the hardened steel shackle carries a NANO PROTECT coating for added protection against weathering and forced entry. Inside, a precision pin cylinder uses mushroom counter pins and a paracentric keyway to resist picking and manipulation, with an automatic locking mechanism. It is keyed alike to code 503, allowing several padlocks to be opened with the same key across multiple points. Overall dimensions are 50mm width, 77mm height and 18mm depth, with a shackle width of 28mm and height of 29mm. The lock carries an ABUS security rating of 6.
