About this product

The ABUS 70AL/45 is a green aluminium padlock with a 45mm body, suited to colour-coded security systems and lockout/tagout procedures where visibility matters. The body is precision extruded, cut and drilled from pure aluminium, giving a lightweight but strong construction ideal for portable use. A shock-absorbing vinyl case with cover seal protects the cylinder from water and dirt, making it suitable for outdoor storage units, gates and equipment. Inside is a rustfree precision 5 pin tumbler cylinder paired with a through-hardened, plastic-coated 8mm steel shackle for cut resistance. The lock mechanism is zinc plated brass, guarding against chemical corrosion. Overall dimensions are 53mm wide, 73mm high and 28mm deep, with a shackle 20.5mm wide and 24.5mm high. ABUS rates it at Security Level 5.
