About this product
The Union Hercules padlock is designed for commercial and high-security applications where strong deterrence is needed. It uses a vertical sliding shackle that passes through the staple hole, making direct attack on the shackle impossible, and is built with a hardened steel unsprung shackle of 16mm diameter to resist cutting and sawing. It is insurance graded CEN6 and holds Sold Secure Gold accreditation, with anti-drill, anti-saw, force resistant, anti-pick and torque resistant properties, plus corrosion resistant construction for outdoor use. The AVA 10 disc mechanism offers strong resistance to picking, and the lock retains its key when unlocked to prevent it being left open by accident. Supplied with three AVA keys, it is compatible with the Union 7B018 padbar, making it suitable for gates, compounds, containers and other high-value sites.
