Hammerite Direct to Metal Hammered Copper is a metal paint that can be applied straight onto rusty metal, with no need for primer or undercoat. It gives a warm, hammered copper finish with an authentic aged-metal look, suited to decorative metalwork such as gates, brackets, garden ornaments and other architectural details, as well as period property restoration.
The paint uses silicone technology to seal out moisture, helping resist corrosion, and is touch-dry within one hour, giving protection said to last around 8 years. This 250ml tin is a compact size suited to smaller projects, craft work or accent pieces where a full-size tin would go to waste.
