PlastiKote Metal Spray Primer in Red Oxide is a 400ml aerosol designed to protect metal surfaces from moderate corrosion. Its non-sanding formula allows quick, straightforward application, and the distinctive red colour makes primed areas easy to identify, useful for colour-coding, industrial work, or quality control checks.
The primer is touch dry in 20-40 minutes and thoroughly dry in 2-4 hours, with each tin covering approximately 2.23m². It provides a suitable base for compatible topcoats. For surfaces exposed to more severe corrosion, PlastiKote also offers a Zinc Primer that fuses to the surface.
