About this product
PlastiKote Premium Primer in Black is a 400ml aerosol primer suited as a base coat before dark-coloured or metallic top coats. It increases top coat adhesion and seals porous, bare or corroded surfaces, helping to improve durability and the overall finish. The formula is designed to give enhanced, consistent coverage and can be recoated at any time, allowing projects to be completed without long waits between coats.
The can uses Twist & Spray technology, with a large finger pad said to need 33% less finger pressure than conventional spray cans, plus a twist and lock mechanism that removes the need for a separate cap. The cap and button design also helps keep fingers clean during use.
