Rentokil Advanced Mouse Trap FM101 FM101A

The Rentokil Advanced Mouse Trap is a reusable mechanical trap designed for effective rodent control in domestic and light commercial environments. This powerful trap offers a long-lasting alternative to rodenticide baits, providing a quick and reliable solution for capturing mice without the use of chemicals. Mice present more than just an inconvenience in homes and workplaces - they pose serious health risks, particularly in kitchens and areas where children play. Beyond hygiene concerns, rodents can cause significant property damage by gnawing through wood, plastic and electrical cables, with the potential to create fire hazards. The trap features an easy-to-set mechanism that combines high power with compact design. Simple to bait with recommended attractants such as peanut butter, chocolate spread or tuna, the trap should be positioned on flat surfaces near walls, sheds or garages where mouse activity is evident. The design allows for straightforward release of captured mice whilst maintaining hygiene. Identifying mouse infestations early is crucial. Key indicators include droppings (approximately 5mm long), grease smears along travel routes, gnaw damage to materials and stock, shredded nesting materials, and a distinctive ammonia-like odour in enclosed spaces. As mice are typically nocturnal, these signs may be more apparent than actual sightings.
