Vitax Slugone 1L 5SLG1

This 1 litre pack of Slug Gone Wool Pellets is ideal for protecting smaller gardens, individual containers or targeted areas around vulnerable plants. The compact size makes it perfect for gardeners wanting to trial this natural slug control method or those maintaining a modest collection of pots and baskets. These natural wool pellets form a highly effective textured barrier when laid on compost around plant stems and watered. Once wetted, they 'self-felt' to create a continuous mat that irritates slugs and snails whilst absorbing moisture from their foot, making it extremely difficult for them to cross. Apply in a 10cm wide band around the base of plants for optimal protection. The 1 litre capacity provides excellent coverage for smaller applications whilst delivering all the benefits of this organic solution. The wool mat keeps pot surfaces dry, reduces weed germination and cuts down watering frequency through reduced evaporation. As a biodegradable protein fibre, these pellets release nitrogen, potassium, sulphur and other trace elements essential for plant growth, and when dug into soil after use, they help feed plants and improve moisture retention.
