Vitax Slugone 3.5L 5SLG35

This 3.5 litre pack of Slug Gone Wool Pellets offers excellent value for larger gardens, multiple containers or extensive planting areas requiring comprehensive slug and snail protection. The generous capacity makes it ideal for gardeners maintaining numerous pots, baskets and borders, or those wanting to protect larger vegetable patches throughout the growing season. These natural wool pellets form a highly effective textured barrier when laid on compost around plant stems and watered. Once wetted, they 'self-felt' to create a continuous mat that irritates slugs and snails whilst absorbing moisture from their foot, making it extremely difficult for them to cross. Apply in a 10cm wide band around the base of plants for optimal protection. The 3.5 litre capacity provides extensive coverage whilst delivering all the benefits of this organic solution. The wool mat keeps pot surfaces dry, reduces weed germination and cuts down watering frequency through reduced evaporation. As a biodegradable protein fibre, these pellets release nitrogen, potassium, sulphur and other trace elements essential for plant growth, and when dug into soil after use, they help feed plants and improve moisture retention.
