These Bahco 2628S ERGO™ Insulated Combination Pliers measure 160mm, offering a compact, manoeuvrable tool suited to electrical work in confined spaces or areas larger pliers cannot reach. A special head design aids accessibility, while hardened cutting edges handle both soft and hard wire, with a cutting capacity of 2mm for iron alloy and 1.8mm for piano wire. Gripping surfaces are shaped to suit flat and round material. Built from high-performance alloy steel with a phosphate finish and anti-corrosion treatment, the pliers are designed for demanding professional use. Two-component ERGO™ insulated handles combine a thermoplastic surface with a tough polypropylene base for a secure, comfortable grip. They are certified for work on live equipment up to 1,000V, in compliance with IEC 60900, with every tool tested at 10,000V for 10 seconds during manufacture. They also conform to ISO 5745.
