About this product
These are heavy-duty aviation-style snips designed for cutting sheet metal and non-ferrous materials, as well as bulky items such as vinyl, plastic and rubber. The polished, solid forged blades have serrated edges to grip material securely and prevent slipping during cutting, with an overall length of 250mm (10in) and a blade length of 75mm (3in). A compound action mechanism increases cutting power while reducing effort, aided by a return spring for smooth operation and soft-grip, non-slip handles for comfort. A quick-release safety catch locks the blades closed for storage. Cutting capacity covers cold rolled steel up to 20 gauge (0.94mm) and stainless steel up to 24 gauge (0.533mm).
