These Faithfull Clipper Cut Bolt Cutters are professional-grade tools for construction, maintenance and engineering work, suited to cutting bolts, chains and reinforcing bar. The handles are fully forged in alloy steel, giving strength combined with a good elastic limit, while the blades are also fully forged from heavily alloyed steel for a hardened, structurally sound cutting edge that undergoes a secondary hardening process for maximum durability.
An eccentric adjustment mechanism, using a cammed bolt, allows the cutter head to be adjusted to compensate for blade wear over time. The flush-sided blade design suits close cutting of protruding bolts, padlock shackles and threaded rod where access is restricted.
Overall length is 610mm (24in), with a cutting capacity of 9mm in mild steel.
