The IRWIN Record 202 Roller Pipe Cutter is a robust, professional-grade tool for cutting steel and cast-iron pipe from 3mm to 50mm (1/8in to 2in) in diameter. It's suited to plumbers and pipefitters carrying out metalwork installation and repair work. A specially hardened cutting wheel, guaranteed against breakage, gives durability under demanding trade use. The roller mechanism keeps the cutter square to the pipe throughout the cut and rolls down burrs as it goes, helping to produce clean, accurate, perpendicular cuts with less need for further finishing. The head incorporates a safety stop that prevents the cutting wheel from contacting the rollers, protecting the thin-section wheel from damage and helping extend the tool's working life.
