About this product
These 200mm VDE-insulated snipe nose side cutting pliers from Knipex are designed for electricians working on or near live circuits up to 1000V, tested to DIN EN/IEC 60900. The long, tapered half-round jaws give access into confined spaces, with elastic, distortion-tolerant precision tips and knurled gripping surfaces for fine wire work.
Built from forged, multi-stage oil-hardened vanadium electric steel with a chrome-plated finish, they combine gripping and cutting in one tool. The integrated cutting edges are induction-hardened to around 61 HRC, handling medium-hard wire up to 3.2mm and hard wire up to 2.2mm, suiting electrical installation and control panel work.
