About this product
The Knipex 74 01 160 is a high leverage diagonal cutter designed for very tough, continuous use. It is made from chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, forged and multi-stage oil-hardened, with precision cutting edges that are additionally induction-hardened to approximately 64 HRC, allowing it to cut all sorts of wire including piano wire.
The cutting edge angle and transmission ratio are optimised to give high cutting performance with minimum effort. Handles are plastic coated for grip and comfort.
Overall length is 160mm. Cutting capacities are approximately 2.0mm for piano wire, 2.5mm for hard wire and 3.4mm for medium-hard wire.
