About this product
The Knipex 78 61 125 SB Electronic Super Knips are 125mm precision pliers designed for ultra-fine cutting work, such as electronics and fine mechanics. They are also suitable for cutting glass fibre (fibre optic) cables. The ground cutting edges are without bevel and induction-hardened for durability, with precisely shaped tips capable of cutting wires close to a surface from a diameter of 0.2mm.
Made from special tool steel, oil hardened in multiple stages, the pliers feature a stainless steel rivet joint for extremely smooth, low-fatigue movement, aided by controlled micro cutting edge misalignment for precise, long-lasting cuts. An opening spring and opening limiter simplify use, and the handles have multi-component grips for comfort.
Cutting capacity is around 1.2mm for medium-hard wire and 0.2–1.6mm for soft wire. Head width is 13.5mm. Supplied on a hanging card for display.
