These Knipex 95 11 165 Cable Shears are designed for cutting copper and aluminium single conductors and multiple stranded cables, making them suitable for electricians and electrical contractors needing accurate cable preparation. The precision-ground, hardened blades give clean cuts without crushing or deforming the cable core, and are made from vanadium special tool steel that is forged and oil-hardened for durability.
The shears operate with one hand, with an adjustable bolted joint and self-retaining screw maintaining consistent cutting performance. A built-in guard helps protect the user's hands during cutting.
Cutting capacity is up to 50 mm² or 15 mm diameter for copper and aluminium cables (AWG 1/0). They are not suitable for steel wire or hard drawn copper conductors. Handles are PVC coated, with a length of 165mm.
