These 160mm diagonal cutting pliers from Maun use a compound-lever action that multiplies hand force by 18, reducing the effort needed to cut hard wire. The jaws are induction-hardened to HRC 64 and precisely shaped for durability and accuracy, with a rust-proof finish for lasting performance. Zinc-plated handles are fitted with soft plastic grips for comfort during use. Made in England. Cutting capacity is 2.0mm for piano wire, 2.5mm for hard wire and 4.0mm for soft wire, with a 10mm jaw opening and 8mm jaw width. Suited to dental laboratories, jewellers and craft workers, piano technicians, engineers, mechanics and electricians cutting small diameter cable. Must not be used on live electrical wire.
