About this product
This 200 x 25mm grinding wheel is designed for 8-inch bench grinders and suits normal grinding of ferrous metals. Made from aluminium oxide with vitrified bonding, it has a coarse 36 grit rating and M bond hardness, suited to heavy-duty material removal such as weld grinding and aggressive shaping.
The 25mm width gives increased durability and grinding capacity compared to narrower wheels, improving wheel life. It is supplied with bore reducing bushes to fit bench grinders with shaft sizes of 31.75mm, 25.4mm, 19.05mm, 15.88mm and 12.77mm. Maximum speed is 35 m/s, with a maximum rotational speed of 3,350 RPM.
