About this product
This 50mm Quick Lock Type R backing pad holder is a compact fitting for smaller-scale grinding and finishing work, suited to tighter spaces and detailed metalwork. It uses a tool-free quick lock system, allowing rapid, safe changes between sanding discs, flap discs, polydiscs and surface conditioning discs without needing separate tools.
The pad is made from long-lasting, heat-resistant hard rubber, and its design keeps discs automatically centred, reducing the risk of damage to both the work surface and the pad itself. It comes with a 6mm spindle and a 45mm pad size, rated to a maximum speed of 30,000 rpm.
Typical applications include weld grinding and blending, heavy metal removal, and light deburring and finishing work.
