About this product
This 180mm backing pad is designed for use with sanders and polishers, accepting both GRIP® and hook and loop backed sanding discs. It is made from impact resistant synthetic nylon bonded to microcellular polyurethane, giving a medium density construction that balances flexibility and support for polishing and grinding work.
The super polyurethane build offers good resistance to initial and continuing tearing, oil exposure and ageing, suiting professional and trade use. It has an internal M14 thread fitting, a working size of 178mm, and a maximum rated speed of 4500 RPM. Manufactured in Great Britain.
