This Rohm arbor adapts a 6 Jacobs Taper chuck to a 2 Morse Taper spindle, giving the largest chuck capacity available within the 2MT series. It suits lathes and pillar drills, allowing larger Jacobs taper chucks to be mounted onto medium-sized machines for heavy-duty drilling and larger workpieces. It is precision machined and ground from high-quality tool steel for reliable mechanism performance, and is also suitable for use in custom tool and work holder designs.
