About this product
The DeWalt DCD1623 is an 18V XR cordless magnetic drilling machine designed for drilling and tapping holes in plate steel, pipes, beams and thick metal, with a maximum drilling capacity of 50mm using annular cutters. A brushless motor delivers corded-drill performance, with two mechanical speed ranges and five electronic variable speeds to suit different bit sizes, plus forward/reverse for tapping.
A permanent magnet with 9.9kN holding force secures the unit to the work surface without needing electricity, while lift-off detection cuts power if excessive rotation is sensed. An integrated LED light improves visibility on the work surface.
Supplied as a bare unit (DCD1623N) with no battery, charger or case included.
