The DeWalt DCF922 18v XR Cordless Brushless 1/2" Compact Impact Wrench is a bare unit supplied without battery, charger or case, aimed at tradespeople needing a compact, high-torque wrench for fastening and loosening work. Its brushless motor delivers up to 406Nm of fastening torque and 610Nm of nut-busting torque, with an impact rate of 3,600ipm and no-load speed of 2,500rpm.
A tactile 4-mode select feature offers different speed and torque settings, including a precision mode that pauses before impact to help prevent over-tightening, and a soft joint mode suited to fastening into wood. The 1/2in square drive uses a detent pin for quick socket changes.
The compact, lightweight design (1.1kg) suits confined spaces, with a rubber XR grip for comfort and a dimmable LED work light.
