About this product
The DeWalt DW872 is a 240V dry metal cut-off saw designed for professional workshops and sites with mains power. It has a 2200 watt motor with electronic soft start for smooth, controlled cutting, and a 355mm tungsten carbide tipped blade (70 tooth) that gives burr-free cuts at a constant depth throughout its life.
The 25.4mm arbor accepts a range of metal saw blades. A tool-free pivoting fence allows parallel cuts and mitres up to 45°, while a vertical clamping system holds the workpiece securely. The extra-wide steel base adds stability, and a quick-retracting guard improves visibility during cutting.
Other features include an ergonomic horizontal handle for comfort and a transport lock-mode for easier handling. No-load speed is 1300 rpm and the unit weighs 22.5kg. Maximum cutting capacities include 100x100mm square profile and 130mm round profile at 90°.
