About this product
The Flex MS-1706 is a corded 240V wall chaser designed for cutting parallel slots in masonry and concrete, suited to electricians, plumbers and contractors carrying out first fix cable and pipe installations. It runs at 1400W with FR electronic control and a tachogenerator for constant speed regulation, plus soft start, overload protection and temperature monitoring.
A patented swivel-mounted motor allows both push and pull cutting, while an enclosed guard with rotating dust extractor adaptor keeps operation clean and safe. Tool-free blade changing, cutting depth adjustment, slit width adjustment and a plunge cut stop allow quick setup changes.
It cuts two parallel slots up to 35mm deep and 10-30mm wide, with an integrated slot breaker removing remaining material without a separate hammer. Fitted with a 140mm disc on an M14 spindle, no load speed 7500/min, weighing 4.6kg.
