About this product
The Makita DJN161 is a body-only 18v LXT cordless metal nibbler, suited to professionals who already have compatible Makita batteries and chargers. It cuts mild steel up to 1.6mm, stainless steel up to 1.2mm and aluminium up to 2.5mm, running at 1,900 strokes per minute, and can manage both straight cuts and curves with a minimum outside edge cutting of 50mm and radius inside edge of 45mm.
It has a slide-type on/off switch with lock-on function, an anti-restart function with warning lamp for safety, and a battery capacity warning lamp. The slim housing features rubberised softgrip overmoulding for comfortable handling. It weighs 1.9kg.
Supplied with a punch and die set, hex wrench and wrench holder. No battery, charger or case included.
