The Makita DTW700 is a professional-grade 18v cordless brushless impact wrench with a 1/2in square drive, supplied as a bare unit without battery, charger or case — suited to tradespeople who already have Makita 18v LXT batteries. It suits steel fabrication, steel erection and automotive work, handling standard bolts M10-M24 and high-strength bolts.
It delivers a maximum fastening torque of 700 Nm and nut busting torque of 1,000 Nm, with variable speed up to 2,200 rpm and impact rate up to 2,700 blows per minute. A trigger switch allows conversion between variable and full-speed mode, with shorter trigger travel reaching full speed faster in full-speed mode.
Features include electronic 4-stage power selection, auto-stop in forward and reverse, an electric brake, LED job light and ergonomic soft grip. It weighs between 2.3 and 2.7 kg depending on battery fitted.
