About this product
The Trend Airshield Pro is a battery-powered respirator designed for woodworking applications, including machining MDF. It combines a face-seal and hood for improved protection and is approved to BS EN 12941 (TH2P) with an Assigned Protection Factor of APF20. Eye protection meets BS EN 166. The motor is positioned away from the forehead to reduce noise and irritation, and the unit has attachment points for optional ear defenders. Component layout is arranged to give a balanced centre of gravity for comfort. It features twin filters with 98% efficiency, an audible low battery warning, and a removable 8-hour NiMH battery. Airflow ranges from 160 l/min to 200 l/min when fully charged, headband size adjusts from 52cm to 62cm, and the unit weighs 995g. It includes a battery charger, carry bag, clear visor overlay and airflow indicator.
