About this product
This Trend TCT bearing guided cutter produces an ovolo or round over profile with a 4.8mm radius, suited to curved edge work on natural timber, particleboard and fibreboard. Typical uses include edging window frames, glazing bars, cabinets, tabletops, pencil rounds, trophies, shelves and fire surrounds, and it can also form bullnose edge moulds.
Being self-guiding, it needs no side fence. It is supplied with two bearings, 9.5mm and 12.7mm diameter: the larger bearing gives a round over profile, while lowering the cutter can produce a top quirk. A full round or bullnose, useful for stair treads, can be achieved by taking a second pass from the opposite side of the workpiece.
