About this product
This is a Trend shank mounted template profiler with a 1/4in shank, made from tungsten carbide. It has a 12.7mm diameter and a 9.5mm cutting depth, with a shank mounted bearing set at 90° for guidance when following a template. The bearing guidance allows good vision of the template, making it suited to profiling and rebating work on timber, laminate and wood based materials, including trimming veneers and laminates and forming curved rebates and grooves. It is suitable for both straight and curved work, but is not intended for plunge, cutting or grooving applications. When copy profiling, an overlap of approximately 3mm should be left, and laminate adhesive should be allowed to dry fully before trimming to avoid clogging the guide bearing.
