About this product
The Makita BO3710 is a 1/3 sheet orbital sander suited to trade and DIY sanding tasks, from stripping old finishes to achieving a smooth final finish. It has a 190w motor with electronic speed control, allowing the sanding action to be adjusted for different materials. The ergonomic, rubberised soft-grip body supports comfortable single or double-handed use over extended periods.
A built-in dust collection system with a supplied dust bag keeps the work area cleaner and improves visibility while sanding. The sander runs at 11,000 orbits per minute and 22,000 strokes per minute, and is double insulated for added safety.
It takes standard 93 x 228mm abrasive sheets on a 92 x 185mm pad, with a punch plate included to align holes correctly. The sander weighs around 1.5-1.6kg.
