About this product
The Makita DBO381 is a cordless finishing sander powered by the 18V LXT battery system (sold separately). It uses a brushless motor with 3-stage electronic speed control, running from 4,000 to 12,000 orbits per minute (8,000 to 24,000 strokes per minute), and constant speed control keeps performance steady under load.
A tool-less paper clamp allows quick sheet changes, while the detachable front grip aids sanding in corners. Built-in dust extraction with a dust bag is included, and the sander supports Makita's Auto-Start Wireless System, connecting via Bluetooth to compatible AWS dust extractors so extraction starts automatically with the tool.
The sanding pad measures 93 x 185mm, taking 93 x 228mm abrasive sheets fixed by hook and loop. Supplied as a bare unit with punch plate, dust bag and abrasive paper, but no battery, charger or case.
