About this product
This VDE insulated screwdriver has a 4mm parallel slotted tip and a 100mm blade, suited to medium-duty electrical work such as control cabinets, terminal blocks, switches, relays and sockets. The parallel tip helps maintain good contact with the screw head to reduce cam-out, while offering more torque for slightly larger electrical fixings.
Manufactured to EN 60900:2012, each screwdriver is individually tested at 10,000V before leaving the factory, giving a safe working limit of up to 1,000V. The blade is made from tempered and hardened chrome vanadium steel for strength under high torque, and the handle uses a two-component, slip-resistant soft grip for comfort and control.
