About this product
These ForgeFix Wafer Head Construction Screws, size 8 x 320mm, are supplied in a tub of 20 and suit fixing into softwood or hardwood, including deep structural connections. The wafer head sits flush with the surface, and the deep T40 Torx compatible insert reduces cam-out while giving higher torque and a firmer drive. A patented self-drilling thread removes the need to pre-drill and reduces the risk of splitting, even close to timber edges, thanks to a super sharp tip that bites immediately. The hardened case and core give strength, and the screws are highly resistant to pull out. Finished in tan elementech 2000, offering corrosion resistance up to 30 times longer than standard zinc coated screws. CE approved for load-bearing timber construction.
