ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws, 4.5 x 60mm, supplied in a box of 100. Their length and diameter suit heavy-duty structural timber, thick floor joists and substantial framework where deep penetration and strong holding are needed.

The screws have a Pozi-compatible drive with six underhead lobes for improved countersinking and less surface dust, plus a reinforced countersunk neck for better holding power. An anti-friction, serrated thread reduces splitting, jacking and spinning while improving pull-out resistance and drawing strength, with lower insertion torque. A double cutting point speeds up drilling, reduces dust clogging, and can pierce 0.8mm steel.
