ForgeFix ForgeFast wood screws, 4.5 x 80mm, supplied in a box of 100. The larger diameter and length suit heavy-duty structural beams, thick timber framework and floor constructions where deeper penetration and strength are needed.

The screws have a Pozi-compatible drive with six underhead lobes for cleaner countersinking, and reinforced countersunk necks for better holding power. An anti-friction, serrated thread reduces splitting, jacking and spinning while improving pull-out resistance and drawing strength, with lower insertion torque. A double cutting point speeds up drilling, reduces clogging and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

The Elementech 400 coating gives anti-corrosive protection said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, contains no Cr6+, and is salt spray tested to 400 hours. Intended for interior use.
