About this product
ForgeFast wood screws measuring 5.0 x 100mm, supplied in a box of 100. Suitable for heavier fixings such as thick timber sections, structural beams and substantial framework where extra length and diameter are needed for holding power.
The screws have a Pozi-compatible drive with six underhead lobes for cleaner countersinking and less surface dust, plus a reinforced countersunk neck for improved holding. An anti-friction, serrated thread reduces splitting, jacking and spinning while improving pull-out resistance and drawing strength. A double cutting point speeds up drilling, reduces dust clogging, and can pierce 0.8mm steel.
Finished with Elementech 400, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free coating that is salt spray tested to 400 hours and lasts up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. Intended for interior use.
