ForgeFix ForgeFast Pozi Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw ZY 5.0 x 30mm Box 200 FFP530Y

ForgeFast wood screws measuring 5.0 x 30mm, supplied in a box of 200, suited to medium to thick timber sections such as door frames and heavier window installations. They have a universally accepted Pozi compatible drive with six underhead lobes for cleaner countersinking and less surface dust, plus a reinforced countersunk neck for improved holding power.

An anti-friction, serrated thread reduces timber splitting and jacking, lowers insertion torque and improves pull-out resistance and drawing strength. A double cutting point speeds up drilling, reduces dust clogging, and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

The screws are finished with Elementech 400 coating, giving anti-corrosive protection said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. It is Cr6+ free and salt spray tested to 400 hours, making the screws suitable for interior use.
