About this product

ForgeFix ForgeFast Elite Performance Wood Screws in 5.0 x 70mm, supplied in tubs of 450. The larger diameter and length suit heavy-duty structural work such as joist fixing, post and beam construction and thick timber joining, offering strong load distribution and resistance to shearing.

The screws have a Pozi compatible drive with 6 underhead lobes for clean countersinking, and reinforced countersunk necks for improved holding power. An anti-friction, serrated thread reduces splitting and 'jacking' while improving pull-out resistance, and a double cutting point speeds drilling and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

Finished with Elementech 400 coating, tested to 400 hours' salt spray resistance, making them suitable for both interior and exterior use.
