About this product
ForgeFast Pozi compatible wood screws in 6.0 x 100mm size, supplied in boxes of 100 for interior use. The larger 6mm diameter and 100mm length suit heavy-duty structural work such as timber framing, joist fixing and substantial joinery, offering strong load-bearing capacity and reduced deflection under load.
The screws have a Pozi compatible drive with 6 underhead lobes for clean countersinking and reduced dust, plus reinforced countersunk necks for improved holding power. The anti-friction thread reduces timber splitting and jacking, while the serrated thread improves pull-out resistance and lowers insertion torque. A double cutting point speeds up drilling and can pierce 0.8mm steel.
An Elementech 400 coating gives anti-corrosive protection, tested to 400 hours' salt spray, lasting longer than standard zinc coatings and free from Cr6+.
