About this product
ForgeFix ForgeFast Elite Performance wood screws, 6.0 x 120mm, supplied in boxes of 100 for interior structural use. The size suits heavy timber framework, thick joist and beam connections and applications with substantial or multiple layers of material, offering good resistance to shearing and bending under load.
The screws have a Pozi compatible drive with 6 underhead lobes for clean countersinking, plus reinforced countersunk necks for improved holding power. An anti-friction thread reduces splitting of the timber, while the serrated thread improves pull-out resistance. A double cutting point speeds up drilling and can pierce 0.8mm steel.
An Elementech 400 coating provides anti-corrosive protection, free of Cr6+, and salt spray tested to 400 hours.
