ForgeFast Elite Performance wood screws in 4.0 x 50mm size, supplied in a tub of 900 with a Torx compatible bit included. Suited to fixing thicker timbers and boarding in interior applications, particularly joining substantial timber sections and heavier construction work.

The screws have a Torx compatible drive for good torque transmission and reduced cam-out, recessed ribs for improved countersinking and less surface dust, and a reinforced countersunk neck for better holding power. A patented drill and drive thread reduces splitting and jacking of joined timber and increases pull-out resistance. A sharp point gives faster bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

An Elementech 400 coating gives anti-corrosive performance said to last up to 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings, contains no Cr6+, and is salt spray tested to 400 hours. Suitable for interior use.
