The length suits heavy-duty interior structural work, such as fixing timber to blockwork through plasterboard, joining thick hardwood sections and securing structural timber connections, with the 4.5mm diameter providing reliable holding power.

The patented drill and drive thread creates its own pilot hole, reducing splitting and preventing jacking between joined components, while a sharp point gives fast bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel. The reinforced countersunk neck with recessed ribs improves holding power and countersinking with less surface dust.

Screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish said to outlast standard zinc coatings by up to six times, and salt spray tested to 400 hours. Intended for interior use.
