ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw ZY 5.0 x 100mm Tub 300 FFT5100YT

ForgeFix ForgeFast wood screws in 5.0 x 100mm size, supplied in a tub of 300 with a complimentary Torx compatible bit. The length and gauge suit heavy-duty structural work and thick timber joinery where strong holding power is needed.

The screws feature a Torx compatible drive, recessed ribs for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, and a reinforced countersunk neck for better holding power. A patented drill and drive thread reduces timber splitting, prevents jacking and spinning of joined timber, and increases pull-out resistance. The sharp point gives faster bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

An Elementech 400 coating provides anti-corrosive protection said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, contains no Cr6+, and is salt spray tested to 400 hours. The screws are intended for interior use.
