ForgeFast wood screws from ForgeFix, size 5.0 x 120mm, supplied in boxes of 100 with a Torx® compatible bit included. The extra length and 5mm diameter suit demanding interior structural work, such as fixing timber through thick insulation into masonry or joining substantial timber sections, offering good holding power and shear resistance.

A patented drill and drive thread reduces splitting and prevents jacking and spinning of joined timber, while a sharp point pierces steel up to 0.8mm for faster bite. Recessed ribs aid countersinking and reduce surface dust, and the reinforced countersunk neck improves holding power.

The screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish salt spray tested to 400 hours and said to outlast standard zinc coatings by up to six times. They are intended for interior use.
