ForgeFix ForgeFast wood screws, 5.0 x 30mm, supplied in a box of 200 with a Torx® compatible bit. Suited to substantial timber sections, fixing heavier components to hardwood and securing robust interior brackets, where the 5mm diameter gives strong grip and resistance to shear forces.

The Torx® compatible drive gives improved torque transfer and reduces cam-out. A patented drill and drive thread cuts its own path through timber, reducing splitting, jacking and spinning, while a sharp point pierces steel up to 0.8mm thick. Recessed ribs beneath the countersunk head improve countersinking and reduce surface dust, and the reinforced neck aids holding power.

Screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish said to outlast standard zinc coatings up to six times, salt spray tested to 400 hours. Intended for interior use.
