ForgeFast wood screws with a Torx-compatible drive, supplied in a box of 100 with a matching bit included. At 6.0 x 150mm, these are suited to heavy-duty structural work, such as fixing timber through thick insulation into masonry or joining substantial timber sections in frame construction.

A patented drill and drive thread creates a clean path through the wood, reducing splitting and preventing jacking or spinning of joined components, while improving pull-out resistance. Recessed ribs on the reinforced countersunk neck improve countersinking and holding power while limiting surface dust. The sharp point gives a fast bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

The screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish tested to 400 hours' salt spray resistance, said to outlast standard zinc coatings by up to six times. Intended for interior structural applications.
