The 240mm length is ideal for fixing timber through very thick insulation to masonry, creating heavy-duty structural timber frame connections, and securing components across substantial depths whilst the robust 6mm diameter ensures exceptional holding power and superior resistance to shear and tensile forces throughout the full length. The universally accepted Torx® compatible drive ensures reliable torque transfer and eliminates driver slippage, allowing for confident installation even in the most challenging deep penetration structural applications. Its patented drill and drive thread design reduces splitting whilst preventing the jacking and spinning often experienced with conventional large-diameter long screws. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers superior holding power, whilst recessed ribs ensure improved countersinking with reduced surface dust.
